Old Sorcery is a dungeon synth / atmospheric black metal project born in 2017 in Lahti, Finland. It is the flagship vision of multi-instrumentalist and composer Vrajitor — also known for Warmoon Lord, Argenthorns, Vrajitor’s Tenebrarium and Wizard’s Hat Music.

The project draws a line through fantasy kingdoms: molten silver fortresses, entombed monarchs, lost grimoires and the solitary path of the Magus. Early works such as Realms of Magickal Sorrow and Strange and Eternal established a distinctive blend of classic dungeon synth atmosphere and black metal steel.

Old Sorcery is currently in the midst of a trilogy shared between labels Out Of Season and Avantgarde Music. The second chapter, The Outsider (January 2026), is a journey of over seventy minutes: horns, frostbitten synths, grimy guitar and ceremonial wizardry – described by press as “a journey, not a destination.”

Live and booking: Vrajitor presents Old Sorcery as a carefully staged, immersive set suitable for dark festivals, underground clubs and label showcases. Technical needs stay lean; the emphasis is atmosphere, presence and fidelity to the recorded world.
